The new generation of the Renault Twingo has been officially unveiled, ahead of its public debut scheduled for the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, next month.
Following a series of teaser and spy photos, the new generation of the Renault Twingo, which is wearing the 2015 model year in its name, has been officially unveiled, ahead of its public debut, which will take place next month, during the 2014 Geneva Motor Show. The model in question has been inspired by the Twin’Run and Twin’Z concept cars and it will only become available as a five-door hatchback and as a convertible.
The 2015 Renault Twingo will be getting a sliding soft top, which will be similar to the one used on the Fiat 500C, on the Citroen DS3 Cabrio and so on. The vehicle has a prominent Renault badge, some circular LED daytime running lights, hidden rear door handles, distinctive taillights and more. Customers will be able to order the new Twingo in four “pop” colors, the white, light blue, yellow and red, with a variety of customization options. Interior images with this model will be released on the 4th of March, during the Geneva automotive event, and this is also when the company will announce the first powertrain details.
