The 2015 Renevo Coupe has been officially presented to the public, in a premiere, during the 2014 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.
Renevo Motors has officially pulled the wraps off the brand new 2015 Coupe, which has been described as the “first all-electric American supercar”. The vehicle in question is basically based on the Shelby American CSX 9000 and it has received the retuned suspension system, the beefier frame and the revised styling, amongst others.
“Renovo Motors sought to create an aspirational vehicle that demonstrates the performance, control, and excitement that is possible with EV technology. We have poured our passion and innovation into the Coupe in an effort to deliver a truly amazing driving experience, and we’re honored to present the Production Prototype of our car at the Concours d’Elegance”, said the Renovo CEO, Christopher Heiser.
The 2015 Renovo Coupe is taking its power from two sequential axial flux motors, which are producing a total output of more than 500 HP (373 kW). The peak torque stands at an impressive 1,356 Nm (1,000 lb-ft). The 1,474 (3,250 lb) weighing vehicle can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) in 3.4 seconds and it has a top speed of more than 120 mph (193 km/h). Renovo Motors says that when the battery is depleted, it can be recharged, with a rapid charger, in approximately 5 hours. The company is already taking orders for the model in question, which will go into production next year.
