Smart has announced the official pricing details for the new ForTwo and ForFour in the United Kingdom, where the two models will go on sale starting in early next year.
The 2015 Smart ForTwo has been priced from 11,125 GBP while its four-door brother will be starting in at 11,620 GBP. In this version, customers will be getting the 1.0 liter three-cylinder naturally aspirated unit, with 71 HP (52 kW) and 91 Nm (67 lb-ft) of torque, but for 11,720 GBP, the ForTwo can be had with the 0.9 liter turbocharged three-cylinder unit, which is rated at 90 HP (66 kW) and 135 Nm (100 lb-ft) of torque. This is only available in the two-door vehicle, at the moment.
The six-speed dual clutch manual transmission can be added in order to replace the standard five-speed manual in both vehicles for an extra 995 GBP. The base version of the two models is coming in with an orange/black or white/black interior theme, with Bluetooth, automatic climate control and 15-inch alloy wheels, while the Up, priced at 695 GBP more, is adding the 15-inch black rims, panoramic glass roof, lane keep, black leather upholstery, heated seats and so on. Prices for the Edition 1 stat from 13,225 GBP for the 71 HP ForTwo and from 13,720 GBP for the 71 HP ForFour, while for the 90 HP variant in the ForTwo goes up to 13,820 GBP.
