The first renderings with the new Subaru Legacy, in a coupe body style, have recently hit the web and they might provide a first look into a new possible version of this model.
After it has been spied and eventually unveiled during the 2014 Chicago Auto Show, just last month, the brand new 2015 Subaru Legacy is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time in a different body style. We’re talking about the Legacy Coupe which, for now at least, can only be seen in simple renderings, like the one created by Theophilus Chin, in This case. We have no clue on whether Subaru will put the two-door Legacy into production, but, just in case, never say never.
The 2015 Subaru Legacy has received the Active Grille Shutter system, on the 2.5i vehicles, muscular wheel arches, a raked windscreen, LED taillights, higher quality materials and 17- or 18-inch alloy wheels. The cabin is getting a 6.2-inch display for the infotainment system, metallic trim, soft-touch plastics and more. The engines available for this model include the 2.5 liter four-cylinder with 175 HP (130 kW) and 235 Nm (174 lb-ft) of torque and the 6-cylinder 3.6 liter with 256 HP (191 kW) and 247 lb-ft) of torque. Both versions are getting the Lineatronic CVT and AWD.
