2015 Subaru Outback teased, going to New York

Subaru has released the first teaser image with the 2015 Outback, ahead of its public debut which will take place this month, during the 2014 New York Auto Show.

The 2015 Subaru Outback is close to hitting the market, but until this will happen, the company will officially present it to the public at the 2014 New York Auto Show, later on this month. In order to place it into the spotlights, the car manufacturer has released a teaser image in which part of the model’s front fascia is visible and, at a first look, we can definitely say that it has an evolutionary design.

“Fuji Heavy Industries Ltd. (FHI), the maker of Subaru automobiles, today announced that the all-new “Outback” (US specifications model) will make its world debut at the 2014 New York International Auto Show”, says the carmaker in its official press release.

The new Subaru Outback has some LED infused headlights, a new front grille and what appears to be some plastic body cladding. As far as the engine lineup goes, the units are expected to be carried over from the Legacy, which basically means that we will see the 175 HP (130 kW) and 235 Nm (174 lb-ft) of torque 2.5 liter four-cylinder engine, along with the larger 3.6 liter six-cylinder unit with 256 HP (191 kW) and 334 Nm (247 lb-ft).
