A slightly updated version of the 2015 Toyota Prius C has been officially introduced by the car manufacturer.
Toyota is getting ready for the 2015 model year with the Prius C. The model in question has received a series of exterior changes which include the revised front fascia with the standard low and high beam LED headlights, with different front and rear bumpers, with a modified front grille, a shark fin antenna, different taillights and three new body paints, the Tangerine Splash Pearl, the Electric Lime Metallic and the Sparkling Sea Metallic. The interior design of the model has been updated too and this is now getting some additional technology features, vibration and harshness levels and more “premium” materials.
The 2015 Toyota Prius C is still taking its power from a 1.5 liter gasoline engine, which is rated at 73 HP (54 kW) and 111 Nm (82 lb-ft) of torque. The unit is connected to an electric motor, providing an extra 99 HP (74 kW), feed by the 144-volt nickel metal battery which has been installed under the rear seat. The estimated EPA stands at 5 / 46 / 50 mpg in city / highway / combined. The company hasn’t announced any pricing details on the updated version of the Prius C, at the moment.
