Volkswagen has recently launched the 2015 Polo GTI in Australia, where the model is available in two versions, equipped with a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DSG transmission.
The cheapest version of the 2015 Volkswagen Polo GTI is the 6-speed manual, coming in from 27,490 AUD, but if the 7-speed DSG is what you are interested in, than get ready to pay 29,990 AUD for it. Being a GTI version of the Volkswagen Polo means that the 1.8 liter four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine is found under its hood. With the six-speed manual version, this is capable of producing a total output of 141 kW and 320 Nm of torque, available at between 1,450 rpm and 4,200 rpm, enough for a 0 to 100 km/h sprint made in 6.7 seconds and an average fuel consumption of 6.1L / 100km. The 7-speed DSG has 141 kW and 250 Nm of torque, available between 1,250 rpm and 5,300 rpm, capable of reaching 100 km/h in 6.7s. This is returning 5.7L / 100km.
