The first rendering with the 2015 Volkswagen Polo R has recently hit the web and it might provide us with a first look into a possible future top of the line version of the small hatchback.
The German based automaker has already unveiled the facelifted version of the Polo which should be enough to keep customers satisfied until a new generation of the model will hit the market, probably in the next couple of years. But the question on the company’s fans minds is aimed towards a new top of the line version, the Polo R, especially after Volkswagen has created the one-off Polo R WRC.
The image posted above is a rendering, created by Theophilus Chin, and we can see the so-called Volkswagen Polo R, in a three-door body style, with a more aggressive design, with the R badge on the front grille and with large wheels, 18- or 19- inch in size. If the model will eventually hit the assembly line, than expect the same 2.0 liter TSI four-cylinder from its larger brother, the Golf R, which will be toned down from 300 HP to approximately 250 HP. More details on the Polo R remain unknown for the moment.
