Volkswagen has recently introduced the facelifted version of the Vento in India, where the model in question is getting ready to go on sale pretty soon.
In case you don’t know what a new Volkswagen Vento is, we will tell you that this is basically a Polo with a larger trunk. The updated version is bringing the double barrel headlights, different front and rear bumpers and a new set of alloy wheels, which should be enough to help it stand out from a crowd.
Changes have been applied to the interior design of the model too. This includes the new three spoke steering wheel from the facelifted Polo, the silver finish for the center console and standard items such as the two front airbags, the power windows or the height adjustable driver’s seat. VW says that the Highline models are bringing the audio system, Bluetooth, automatic climate control, speed sensing door locks and 15-inch alloy wheels.
The 2015 Volkswagen Vento is powered by a 1.5L TDI diesel burner, rated at 105 HP (77 kW) and 250 Nm (184 lb-ft) of torque. The unit is connected to a 5-speed manual or a 7-speed automatic. The petrol lineup includes the 105 HP (77 kW) and 153 Nm (113 lb-ft) of torque 1.6 liter unit and the 105 HP (77 kW) and 175 Nm (129 lb-ft) 1.2 liter TSI.
