The first rendering with the new generation of the Volvo XC90, after it has been unveiled, is showing the model in a Polestar version.
After it was officially unveiled just a day before writing this article, the new generation of the Volvo XC90 is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the help of a new image, which is showing it in a hotter Polestar version. The image posted above is basically a rendering which has been signed by X-Tomi Design (FB) but don’t be fooled by that blue finish and sporty touches because chances are we will see a model like this, probably sometimes in 2015.
The 2015 Volvo XC90 Polestar is looking rather restrained coming in with a lowered suspension system, with a revised front bumper, with black paint on its mirrors and on its roof, with the Polestar badgings and it is now riding on larger 5-spoke alloy wheels. The new-gen XC90 has an engine lineup which includes the D4 and the D5 turbo diesels, with 190 HP and 400 Nm of torque and with 225 HP and 470 Nm of torque, respectively, along with the T5 and T6 petrol burners, producing 254 HP and 350 Nm of torque and 320 HP and 400 Nm of torque. There is also a T8 plug-in hybrid available, with 400 HP and 640 Nm of torque.
