Two new renderings with the Shooting Brake version of the new-gen Volkswagen Passat have recently ended up onto the web.
Did you ever wonder what the new generation of the Volkswagen Passat would look like in a Shooting Brake version? Well in these drawings, looks quite appealing. Keep in mind that the two images posted below are renderings of the new-gen VW Passat and the German based automaker hasn’t announced any intentions of putting such a model into production, at least for the moment.
As a small reminder, the new generation of the Volkswagen Passat has been officially unveiled a few weeks ago. The model in question stands at 4,767 mm long, 1,832 mm wide and 1,456 mm tall, making it 2 mm shorter, 12 mm wider and 6 mm lower than its predecessor. The wheelbase has been stretched by 79 mm and it’s now standing at 2,791 m. The 2015 Volkswagen Passat has a cargo space of 586 liters (21 liters more) in the sedan and 650 liters (57 liters more) in the Variant. The car is riding on a completely new platform and it will go on sale soon.
