The German based automaker Volkswagen has officially pulled the wraps off its newest creation, the Golf Variant Biturbo Edition, during the 2015 Worthersee, in a premiere.
Volkswagen is present at the 2015th edition of the Worthersee with several versions of the popular Golf compact car and the newest addition to the “range” has been called the Golf Variant Biturbo Edition. According to the car manufacturer, the model in question has been put together by 14 apprentices from Zwickau and it is coming with an Alor Blue exterior design, with the Deep Black pearl body stripes, with the 5-spoke alloy wheel design, the four-tailpipe sports exhaust system and, of course, it is in the wagon body style.
The carmaker has adopted the same two-tone theme to the cabin too, where the sports seats have black leather with blue bolsters, as you can see from the images posted below. Modifications haven’t stopped here because the car has also received the extendable cargo deck, the premium audio system, the leather wrapped steering wheel, the airbrushed roof liner with the map of Saxony, highlighting Volkswagen production sites in Chemnitz, Dresden and Zwickau, the gloss black trim and several other goodies. Power to this one-off car is being provided by the 2.0 liter biturbo diesel engine, sourced from the Passat, which is capable of producing a total output of 240 HP (176 kW) and a peak torque of 500 Nm (368 lb-ft) of torque. This is being sent to the 4Motion all-wheel drive system through a DSG transmission. No more details on the model have been released at this time.
