Audi has released a massive photo gallery with the new generation of the A4 B9.
Originally unveiled a few months back and aimed towards the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show which will debut next week, the new generation of the Audi A4 is returning to our attention once again as the carmaker has released a massive photo gallery with it. The premium D-segment vehicle is slightly larger than its predecessor and it stands at 4,730 mm long, 1,840 mm wide and 1,143 mm tall.
This basically means that it is 25 mm longer and 16 mm wider. The wheelbase has increased too, by 12 mm, to 2,820 mm, while the trunk cargo capacity is offering 15 liters more, to a total of 1,510 liters. The entry-level version of the 2016 Audi A4 is weighing 1,320 kg, meaning a weight loss of 120 kg compared to the previous version. Some of the goodies found on the car include the matrix LED headlights, the 8.3-inch tablet styled display on the top-spec infotainment system and the 12.3-inch fully digital instrument cluster.
Under its hood we can find a 1.4 liter TFSI engine, producing 150 HP (110 kW) and 250 Nm (184 lb-ft) of torque, followed by a 2.0 liter TFSI with 190 HP (140 kW) and 320 Nm (236 lb-ft) or 252 HP (185 kW) and 370 Nm (273 lb-ft) of torque. There is also a CNG-compatible 2.0 liter TFSI, with 170 HP (125 kW) and 270 Nm (199 lb-ft) of torque. The diesel range currently includes a 2.0 liter TDI, with two outputs, 150 HP (110 kW) & 320 Nm (236 lb-ft) and 190 HP (140 kW) & 400 Nm (295 lb-ft). The 3.0 liter TDI is good for 218 HP (160 kW) & 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) or 272 HP (200 kW) & 600 Nm (443 lb-ft).
