And it should be just around the corner considering the introduction of the new A4 generation recently.
The new generation of the Audi A4 has been officially unveiled just a week ago and the model in question will be offered in the four-door sedan and five-door Avant versions. The introduction of a range-topping RS4 is currently kept into the shadows at this time as nobody is sure whether this will come in the five-door variant just like before of it the company will decide to bring it as a sedan too. Another unclear situation is the future of the A5 Coupe, which will rival the upcoming C-Class Coupe from Mercedes-Benz and the 4-Series from BMW.
The model in question hasn’t been spotted as a test mule at this point so chances are it will continue to be offered in the current version for quite some time now, as its future generation should come probably in 2016, but don’t act too surprised if you will see it one year later either. The image posted above is a rendering which has been signed by X-Tomi Design and it is showing us how the new A5 Coupe will look like with the influences of the new A4 generation. Its design isn’t dramatic and in fact the car has been toned down compared to the current variant. The front fascia is resembling the one of the new A4 and chances are the rear end will be identical too. The only differences will be the sloping roofline and the two-door coupe body style. The interior design, gadgets, technologies and engine lineup should be shared with the new A4.
