Audi has officially announced the pricing list for the new Q7 generation in the United Kingdom, where the model will go on sale this August.
The 2016 Audi Q7 will be setting you back for 50, 340 GBP, for the base entry-level version, and for the money you will get the 3.0 liter V6 diesel engine, which is capable of producing a total output of 268 HP and 442 lb-ft of torque. This is followed by the 3.0 liter petrol V6 unit, with 328 HP and 324 lb-ft of torque. Both versions are getting the same standard 8-speed automatic transmission, sending power to the Quattro all-wheel drive system. The diesel needs 6.5s to reach 62 mph from a standstill and it can go up to 145 mph and the petrol can do it in 6.1s and up to 155 mph.
The average fuel consumption in the 3.0 TDI stands at 47.9 mpg UK and the CO2 emissions at 153 g/km, while the 3.0 TFSI is returning 36.7 mpg UK and emitting 179 g/km of CO2. The new generation of the Audi Q7 has been based on the MLB platform and its weight has been lowered by a significant 325 kg compared to its predecessor. The model is adopting aerodynamic refinements and an upgraded interior design. The new Q7 generation is 370 mm shorter and 15 mm narrower than its predecessor, standing in at 5,050 mm long, 1,970 mm wide and 1,740 mm tall. This will arriving on UK soil this August but order books are already opened.
