The new generation of the Audi Q7 has been recently caught on camera while it was being tested out on public roads.
The German based automaker Audi is currently testing out the new generation of its SUV, the Q7, as this has been caught on camera recently by our spy photographers. Despite the camouflaged body, we can still see those “classic” lines of the current Q7, along with the new full LED Matrix headlights. The model in question will get a completely new exterior design, along with a new interior, a new chassis and a different engine lineup.
Speaking of the chassis, you should know that this will help save some weight compared to the current model and the platform used on it will also be found on other models created by the Volkswagen Group, including the next Cayenne or the much awaited Bentley SUV. As far as the engine lineup goes, this should be carried over from the A7 and from the A8 and it should include the three 3.0 liter TDI diesels with outputs ranging between 218 HP and 320 HP, along with the 4-liter twin turbo V8 or the tri-turbo TDI from the RS5 which will compete with the BMW X5 M50d.
