Audi has announced the introduction of the 2016 RS3 Sportback on the Australian automotive market.
According to the car manufacturer, the model in question has a starting price of 78,900 AUD and it is bringing a lot of standard features, which include the 19-inch alloy wheels, the RS sport exhaust system, RS specific sport suspension, RS sport front seats with Nappa leather and heating, MMI Navigation Plus with 7.0-inch color display, Audi Music Interface, MMI Touch, Audi Sound System with 10 speakers, CD player, 20 GB HDD, 2 SDHC memory card slots, Bluetooth connectivity and streaming, DAB+ digital radio, storage and luggage compartment package, automatic air conditioning with dual climate control and rear air vents and others.
The safety features found on the premium hot hatch include the front airbags for the driver and passenger, driver’s knee airbag, side airbags, head-level curtain airbags for front row, ESC with ABS, EDL, ASR, electromechanical speed sensitive power steering and safety steering column with tilt and telescoping adjustment, Audi Parking System Plus with front and rear sensors, rearview camera, Audi Side Assist and more. Under its hood there is a 2.5 liter five-cylinder turbocharged direct injected petrol engine, capable of putting down a total of 270 kW at 5,550 rom – 6,800 rpm, and 465 Nm of torque, available between 1,625 rpm and 5,550 rpm. From 0 to 100 km/h, the 1,520 kg weighing vehicle needs 4.3 seconds. The average fuel consumption stands at 8.1l / 100km and the CO2 emissions stop at 189 g/km.
