2016 Buick Enclave gets new goodies in standard image

The North American based automaker Buick has recently announced a series of updates for the 2016 model year Enclave.

The 2016 Buick Enclave has received several features offered in standard which now include the OnStar 4G LTE connectivity with the Wi-Fi built-in hotspot, which can actually be used by up to seven devices, simultaneously. Buick says that the 4G LTE and the Wi-Fi hotspot is offered across the range, from the Encore and Verano to the Regal and LaCrosse and it is also including the new convertible, the Cascada. According to the carmaker, the Wi-Fi hotspot is working whenever the vehicle is on and it is offered with the 3-month / 3GB data trial.

“Customers’ daily lives are so entwined with personal devices, so the addition of OnStar 4G LTE and its integral Wi-Fi hotspot is a feature they will rely on. It allows busy people to stay connected throughout the day and provides another outlet for passenger entertainment on long trips”, said the VP of Buick, Duncan Aldred.

The 4G LTE technology found on the OnStar hardware is offering stronger, broader coverage than smartphones on the same network and it is 10 times faster than 3G and 100 times faster than the previous generation of the OnStar. All versions of the Enclave are also getting the IntelliLink color touch radio as standard too and six months of OnStar Directions and Connections service which include the RemoteLink Mobile App. This is allowing smartphone users to control some of the vehicle’s functions.
