Cadillac has officially announced the official starting price of the brand new CTS-V, which will be arriving at dealerships in this summer.
The Cadillac answer to the BMW M5 or the Mercedes E63 AMG is called the CTS-V and it is getting ready to arrive in dealerships across the nation starting in late summer. According to the car manufacturer, the cheapest version of the model will start from 83,995 USD and this will be making it basically more affordable than its main German competitors. The performance sedan has received the aggressive front fascia with the larger air intakes, the ventilated carbon fiber hood, the aerodynamic side skirts, the 19-inch forged aluminum wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires and several other goodies.
The cabin of the car is getting the 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, the CUE infotainment system, the semi-aniline / sueded microfiber sport seats, the matte carbon fiber trim and so on. The most important part of the new Cadillac CTS-V is found, of course, under its hood, where the 6.2 liter supercharged V8 engine is resting. This is capable of producing a total output of 640 HP (477 kW) and a peak torque of 855 Nm (630 lb-ft). The un is connected to an 8-speed automatic transmission which is allowing it to reach 60 mph (96 km/h), from a standstill, in just 3.7 seconds and to go all the way up to a limited top speed of 200 mph (322 km/h). The model will be arriving at dealerships in late summer.
