The new generation of the Chevrolet Camaro is getting closer and closer to its future customers as the company has announced that shipping will begin later on this week.

One of the main rivals of the new Ford Mustang is finally here and if you have been waiting to get behind the wheel in it, than your wait is almost over because the North American based automotive giant is announcing the shipping start of the muscle car, which will start arriving in Chevy dealerships across the nation later on this week.

The new Camaro generation has been unveiled earlier this year. The vehicle is coming from 26,695 USD, with the 995 USD destination charge, in the entry-level version, but if the Camaro SS is what you are looking for, than you will have to pay 37,295 USD for it. The cheapest model is using a 2.0 liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine under its hood, with 275 HP (205 kW) and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) of torque, which can reach 60 mph (96 km/h) in less than 6 seconds, being followed by a 3.6l V6, rated at 335 HP (250 kW) and 385 Nm (284 lb-ft) of torque. The top of the line model, the Camaro SS, has a 6.2 liter V8 engine, with 455 HP (339 kW) and 617 Nm (455 lb-ft) of torque.
