The pricing list of the new Chevrolet Camaro generation has leaked over the web recently, as the muscle car will be offered for sale later on this year.
The 2016 Chevrolet Camaro will be getting a starting price of 26, 695 USD, including the 995 USD destination charge. For the money, customers will be getting the entry-level Camaro LT, which has a 2.0 liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine under its hood, aimed towards the Mustang EcoBoost. The unit has 275 HP and 295 lb-ft of torque. Its pricing represents 1,995 USD increase compared to the current entry-level version.
If the V6 Camaro is what you are interested in, than you should get ready to pay at least 28,190 USD, including the destination charge, for this model. This version is rated at 335 HP and 284 lb-ft of torque, being aimed against the V6 Mustang, with its 300 HP and the V6 Challenger, with its 305 HP. The Camaro SS, with its V8 engine, will be setting you back for at least 37,295 USD, destination charge included, and it is making use of the 6.2 liter LT1 V8 engine, shared with the Corvette. This unit is rated at 455 HP and 455 lb-ft of torque.
General Motors will be offering only the coupe this year, with the V6 and V8 engines, while the Camaro Convertible will be arriving in 2016, with the four-cylinder unit as well. Four trim levels will be available for the muscle car, the 1LT, the 2LT, the 1SS and the 2SS.
