Another rendering with the future generation of the Chevrolet Camaro has recently hit the web and it can provide us with a first look into the upcoming muscle car.
After being spied a couple of times just last week, the new generation of the Chevrolet Camaro is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the help of a rendering, which has been signed by the guys from Top Speed. The image posted above is showing an evolutionary design which is adding a new front fascia, a more muscular profile, a sloping roof and the larger wheels.
The new generation of the Chevrolet Camaro will be riding on the Alpha platform, the same one used on the Cadillac CTS, and it should lose some significant weight from its body. The interior design will be heavily modified compared to the one of the current version and the engine lineup will be updated, including a brand new 2.0 liter turbocharged gasoline burner, producing an estimated 272 HP (202 kW) and 399 Nm (295 lb-ft) of torque. This will be competing with the EcoBoost found on the new Ford Mustang. The upcoming Camaro is expected to be introduced sometimes next year.
