The new generation of the Chevrolet Cruze has been placed into the spotlights officially with the help of two images partially revealing its interior design.
The 2016 Chevrolet Cruze is just around the corner as it is expected to be officially unveiled in less than a month, but since the carmaker isn’t really eager to release some important details on it just yet. However, the interior design of the model is being teased these days, with the help of two images, which have been released by the company. The cabin is coming with a multi-function steering wheel, a push-button ignition, chrome trim, accent stitching on the dashboard, blue backlighting, revised switch gear, the new MyLink infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility and several other goodies.
The upcoming Chevrolet Cruze will not be the only model in the carmaker’s lineup which will be getting the Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility as Chevy has just confirmed that no less than 14 models will be getting these. The 2016 Chevrolet Cruze has an evolutionary design which is more aggressive, getting a tailgate mounted spoiler, distinctive rear bumper, sportier side skirts and so on. Rumor has it that the 1.5 liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine, rated at 160 HP (119 kW) and 250 Nm (184 lb-ft) of torque, will be offered under its hood, along with the 2.0 liter turbo diesel unit, with its 151 HP (112 kW) and 357 Nm (264 lb-ft) of torque. The 2016 Chevrolet Cruze will be unveiled on the 24th of June.
