The 2016 Chevrolet Equinox has been officially unveiled recently in a premiere and it will become available to its future customers starting this fall.
Chevrolet has officially pulled the wraps off its newest creation, the 2016 Equinox, ahead of its public debut which will be taking place later on today, during the 2015 Chicago Auto Show. The model in question is basically a facelifted version of the current generation and it is bringing new projector beam headlights, a prominent dual port grille, LED daytime running lights on the LT and on the LTZ versions, a new rear bumper, a modified tailgate, a sporty dual exhaust system and 17- / 18-inch alloy wheels, amongst others.

The enhancements to the 2016 Equinox make a versatile vehicle an even better choice, and demonstrate Chevrolet’s commitment to delivering the broadest lineup of SUVs in the industry”, said the GM of North America president, Alan Batey.
The interior design of the 2016 Chevrolet Equinox is mostly carried over but it is also bringing the additional chrome trim, the higher quality upholstery for the seats, the redesigned center stack and a 7-inch display with standard Color Touch infotainment system on the entry-level versions. As far as the engine lineup goes, this is also carried over so expect the 182 HP (135 kW) and 233 Nm (172 lb-ft) of torque 2.4L four-cylinder, along with the 301 HP (224 kW) and 368 Nm (272 lb-ft) of torque 3.6L V6. No pricing details have been announced yet.
