The North American based automaker Chevrolet has released yet another teaser image with the upcoming 2015 Volt, which will go official over the next few months, during the 2015 NAIAS.
The 2016 Chevrolet Volt is the subject of a new teaser image which has been released once again, by the car manufacturer. The photo, which has been posted above, is showing a test mule of the “green” car from a half sideways point of view, with the Chevy Volt chief engineer, Andrew Farah, standing in front of its wheel.
Just like every other teaser image out there, it is almost pointless to try and see what this is all about, but the main news is that this is just a few months away from being officially presented to the public, an action which will take place during the 2015 NAIAS (North American International Auto Show) in Detroit, opening its gates for the public next January.
The second generation of the Chevrolet Volt will be able to travel on electric power alone for 80 to 96 km (50 – 60 miles) while the current version can do this for just 61 km (38 miles) and rumors are stating that there might even be an entry-level version, with a smaller battery pack. More details on the new generation of the Chevrolet Volt are limited for the moment and will be announced during the North American automotive event.
