The first teaser image with the 2016 Chevrolet Volt has been recently released by the North American based automaker General Motors as the model in question will be making its public debut at NAIAS.
General Motors is also working on some new models, or replacements for the ones already available for order, in between having to answer some angry customers and its recall spree announced over these past few months. One of these models, to make its way onto the market sometimes next year, will be a replacement for the current Chevrolet Volt. The vehicle in question has been recently teased, in the image posted below, and it will still be known as the Volt.
The photo posted above isn’t revealing anything important on the “green” vehicle but we do notice the stylish tailgate or the integrated rear spoiler. Spy shots have shown us the raked windscreen too, the curvaceous body work and some other tweaks. The electric range of the car is expected to be improved and to stand at 80 – 96 km (50 – 60 miles) and chances are we will see a new entry-level version. More details on the 2016 Chevy Volt will be announced during the 2015 North American International Auto Show, in Detroit.
