The 2016 Chrysler 300 SRT will be launched in Australia next month, as the company has officially announced.
Chrysler will be officially launching the 2016 300 SRT in the Pacific country this August. The model in question will be offered from 59,000 AUD, for the base SRT Core version, which will be bringing standard items such as the cloth upholstery, the six-speaker audio system, the SRT Performance Data logging, the door sill scuff plates, the launch control, the rear spoiler, sports steering wheel, body colored side mirrors and door handles and so on. If this doesn’t seem like enough for you, than you can always turn your head towards the range-topping variant, the SRT Premium.
This will be priced from 69,000 AUD and it will be adding features such as the heated front and rear seats, the satellite navigation system, the electronic damper control, the heated and cooled front cup holders, the Nappa leather upholstery, ventilated front seats, sports pedals, 19-speaker sound system with subwoofer, auto-dipping high-beam headlights, automatic wipers, heated steering wheel and more. Under its hood, the 2016 Chrysler 300 SRT is making use of a 6.4 liter HEMI V8 engine, which has received some tweaks increasing its HP by 4 (3 kW) and its torque figure by 6 Nm (4 lb-ft). The total output is now 469 HP (350 kW) and 637 Nm (470 lb-ft) of torque. The 5-speed automatic is being replaced by the 8-speed automatic gearbox.
