Dodge has officially announced its plans in increase production of the Charger SRT Hellcat and the Challenger SRT Hellcat, for the 2016 model year.

In case you have been missing out on the impressive Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat or the Charger SRT Hellcat, don’t worry, because the carmaker has gotten you covered with the 2016 model year. According to the company, the production of the two performance vehicles will significantly increase and all unscheduled 2015 model year orders will be cancelled, as customers will receive discounted pricing on the 2016 model year.

“To meet this demand, we are more than doubling our SRT Hellcat production for 2016 and simplifying the process to make it easier for our enthusiasts to get their hands on the hottest muscle cars in history. In addition, customers with verified sold orders that weren’t built in the 2015 model year will receive special discounted pricing if they re-order in 2016”, said the president and CEO of the Dodge and SRT brands, FCA US, Tim Kuniskis.

The 2016 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat and 2016 Challenger SRT Hellcat will be mostly carried over but they will be getting the Laguna Leather interior, the five years of SiriusXM Travel Link and SiriusXM Traffic, the HD radio, the 8.4-inch Uconnect infotainement system with GPS navigation and several other goodies. Under their hoods, the same 6.2 liter supercharged V8 engine will be found, with the same 707 HP (527 kW) and 880 Nm (650 lb-ft) of torque. No pricing details for the 2016 model year have been announced so far.
