A more practical version of the updated Fiat 500 has hit the web and it is giving us a glimpse of a possible future model.
The Fiat 500 has turned out to be an extremely popular vehicle since it was officially unveiled, a few years back, and the company has decided to slightly update it for the 2016 model year. Under the “new Fiat 500” name, the model in question has been officially unveiled a few weeks back and it is nothing more than a simple facelift which has a big chance of going by unseen unless you happen to be a Fiat fan.
The image posted above is showing us how a more practical version of the car may look like, if the company will decide to give it a go, as this has been rendered in a five-door hatchback variant. The vehicle in question has been based on the updated 500 city car and has received some tweaks from the 500X. This may very well become a replacement for the Punto and it should spice up the supermini segment, that is if the carmaker will decide to give it a go. Fiat has some big plans for its car lineup in Europe as the Aegea compact sedan is going to be launched soon, along with a new hatchback, which will be replacing the Bravo, and an estate version filling the gap after the Stilo Multiwagon has been dropped, but rather then speculating, we’d better wait for these models to be officially unveiled.
