Fiat will be introducing the 2016 500X in the United States next year, when the model in question is believed to start from 20, 000 USD.
The 2016 Fiat 500X will be offered with a choice of two engines over-seas, along with two transmissions and front- or all-wheel drive. The model in question will come, in its base version, with a 1.4 liter four-cylinder unit, rated at 160 HP and 184 lb-ft of torque. The unit will be connected to a 6-speed manual transmission. The more powerful variant will be getting a 2.4 liter four-cylinder unit, with 180 HP and 175 lb-ft of torque, mated to the 9-speed automatic gearbox signed by ZF.
No less than five trim levels will be offered on the Fiat 500X, the Pop, the Easy, the Lounge, the Trekking and the Trekking Plus, with the last two getting a more rugged look, which includes the unique front and rear fascias, along with silver accents around the body. The interior design will be coming with a flat bottom steering wheel, a gauge cluster made of three instrument binnacles, some interesting trim color options, keyless entry, infotainment, rearview camera, heated front seats and steering wheel and so on. The model will be launched in early 2015.
