Ford has recently announced a series of updates for the F-150 in the 2016 model year.
The 2016 Ford F-150 has received a series of interesting updates. According to the North American based automaker, the model in question is now getting the new SYNC 3 infotainment system which is promising to be more intuitive and faster than its predecessor. The vehicle will also get a revised color palette which will be adding the Lithium Gray and Shadow Black, replacing the Guard Metallic and Tuxedo Black.
“The 2016 Ford F-150, part of Ford F-Series, America’s best-selling truck for 38 years, continues to innovate with the addition of breakthrough towing technology, new Special Edition Appearance Packages, SYNC 3 and alternative fuel capability”, says the carmaker in its press release.
The Special Edition Packages for the XLT and for the Lariat are also adding the unique 20-inch anodized aluminum wheels, the unique bodyside graphics, the smoked headlights, black running boards, the badging, the Alcantara inserts on the special edition seats, the red bolsters, red contrast stitching, unique red stitching on the steering wheel, on the instrument panel and transmission gear selector and several other tweaks. We also have to mention the dark anodized grille with the black mesh for the XLT and the anodized grille with red accents on the Lariat. Ford hasn’t announced any pricing details at the time.
