The 2016 GMC Sierra Elevation Edition has been officially introduced and it will be offered for sale in the first quarter of next year.
The newest model to be signed by GMC has been called the Sierra Elevation Edition and it has been based on the Sierra double cab, obviously. The vehicle is bringing the 20-inch aluminum wheels with black finish, the black recovery hooks, the remote locking tailgate, the body colored side mirrors, door handles and bumpers. Changes made to the cabin are limited and they include the IntelliLink infotainment system, the Android Auto / Apple CarPlay compatibility, 7-inch display, Wi-Fi hotspot, 110-volt AC power outlet, six-speaker audio system and more.
“The Sierra Elevation Edition offers a boldly styled pickup for customers who want a truck that looks as good as it perform. With its muscular design details, inherent truck capabilities and premium technology features such as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capability, Sierra Elevation improves on an already comprehensive package”, said the Buick and GMC VP, Duncan Aldred.
The 2016 GMC Sierra Elevation Edition is making use of a 4.3 liter EcoTec3 V6 engine, producing a total of 285 HP (212 kW) and 413 Nm (305 lb-ft) of torque. If this isn’t enough for you, than you should know that GM is also offering a larger 5.3 liter EcoTec3 V8, rated at 355 HP (264 kW) and 518 Nm (383 lb-ft) of torque. The GMC Sierra Elevation Edition will be offered for sale in the first quarter of 2016. No pricing details on it have been announced at this point.
