GMC has officially pulled the wraps off the 2016 Yukon and Yukon XL which will be offered for sale soon.
The 2016 GMC Yukon and Yukon XL have recently received a series of updates but despite wearing the 2016 model year in their names, don’t expect a lot of modifications compared to the current versions. According to the car manufacturer, the two models are now getting the revised color palette which now includes the White Frost Tricoat and the Crimson Red Tincoat, along with the standard hands-free tailgate, the capless fuel filler and the 22-inch wheels with a new design.
“The Yukon was all new for the 2015 model year, distinguishing itself with bold exterior styling, a precision-crafted interior and a more standard features designed to broaden the appeal of already one of the industry’s most popular family of full-size SUVs. The Yukon’s distinctive Denali models provide an exclusive collection of design, performance and upscale interior amenities. More than half of all Yukons sold are Denali models”, says the company in its press release.
The updated versions of the GMC Yukon and Yukon XL have also received the Enhanced Driver Alert Package, which is bringing the new Lane Keep Assist and the IntelliBeam headlights, which automatically turn the high beams on and off according to road and traffic conditions. There is also the Enhanced Security Package, which is worth mentioning, along with the 8-inch Color Touch Radio with IntelliLink, navigation system, audio system signed by Bose, tri-zone climate control, rear-seat entertainment, USB, SD card slot, wireless headphones, rearvision camera system, cloth trimmed front bucket seats with optional leather trim, heated seats, power operated sunroof, IntelliLink and OnStar 4G LTE and so on. No pricing details have been announced so far.
