The newest Honda Civic Sedan is getting the Type R treatment in newest rendering.
There have been just a few weeks since the new Honda Civic Type R has been introduced and now the model is being highlighted once more, this time with the help of a new rendering. The image posted above has been signed by X-Tomi Design and it’s showing us what the range-topping version of the compact four-door car may look like, if Honda decides to give it a go and, considering the fact that some prototypes of the car have been spotted on the Nurburgring recently, don’t act too surprised if you will see such a model in a dealership nearby soon.
The first thing noticeable about the car is its new and aggressive body kit, which is bringing the flared wheel arches, the new side sills, the updated front fascia with the new bumper, apron and front grille, the large design for the wheels, with red accents, and, of course, that massive rear spoiler, improving its handling and contributing to its final looks. Expect some modifications made to the cabin as well, where, besides the Type R badges, we should see some sports seats and other tweaks. Chances are this should come with the same engine as its hatchback brother, the 2.0 liter turbocharged four-cylinder unit, which should produce approximately 306 HP and 400 Nm of torque. More details on the Civic Type R sedan are limited at this point.
