The 2016 Honda Civic Type R has leaked in yet another image, depicting its design once more ahead of its public debut scheduled for the 2015 Geneva Motor Show.
The new generation of the Honda Civic Type R is just around the corner and this is one of the most awaited hot hatchbacks of the year, along with the brand new Ford Focus RS, which will also debut at the Swiss automotive event. The model in question is the subject of yet another leaked image which is showing its with an appealing body kit, a red finish for its exterior, an aggressive front spoiler with large intakes, the unique Honda Type R grille and several other tweaks.
The 2016 Honda Civic is also getting more muscular fenders, larger side skirts, black side mirror casings, the “shaved” rear doors and also a large rear spoiler which is visible in the image posted above. Last but not least, we have to mention the wheels, which are contributing to that aggressive look. The cabin of the new hot hatch is expected to get sports seats, a sports steering wheel and the Type R badges across. Rumor has it that the new 2.0 liter turbocharged engine will be used under the hood of the model, capable of delivering more than 275 HP, but Honda still hasn’t confirmed this, so we will have to wait for its public debut at the 2015 in order to find out more.
