The 2016 Hyundai Sonata has been shown recently and it is currently arriving at dealerships nationwide.
With a starting price of 21, 750 USD, without the 835 USD destination charge, the 2016 Hyundai Sonata is now here. The model has been redesigned and chances are minor but they do include a more aggressive looking Limited version which is bringing the front bumper from the Sport and the new 17-inch alloy wheels.
Some of the standard features found on the car include the steering wheel mounted audio and cruise control functions, LED DRLs, body color heated side power mirrors, Bluetooth and more. Premium features are the 10-speaker Infinity sound system, Xenon headlights, panoramic sunroof and others. The Safety equipment list is adding the ABS with EBD, Brake Assist, Tire Pressure Monitoring, Lane Departure Warning, Smart Cruise Control, Rear Parking Sensors, Blind Spot Detection, Lane Change Assist, Forward Collision Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, ESC, Vehicle Stability Management and others.
Hyundai also says that the 2016 Sonata is adopting the aluminum suspension components which include the assist arms, the lower control arms and the steering knuckle. Under its hood we can find the 2.4 liter Theta II GDI with 185 HP and 178 lb-ft of torque in the SE, Limited and Sport, along with a 2.0 liter Theta II turbocharged GDI for the Sport 2.0T and Limited 2.0T models, generating 245 HP and 260 lb-ft of torque. The Eco model has a 1.6 liter turbocharged Gamma four-cylinder unit, with 177 HP and 195 lb-ft of torque.
