Nissan’s luxury brand Infiniti will be officially pulling the wraps off the 2016 version of the QX60 next week, during the 2015 New York Auto Show, in a premiere.
The Japanese based automaker Infiniti has recently announced the debut of the 2016 QX60 at the 2015 New York Auto Show, which will be officially opening its gates next week. If you were hoping to see images with the model in question, you will be disappointed because the carmaker hasn’t released any at this time. However, it is being stated that the 2016 QX50 will be getting a modified front bumper, new side skirts, a higher stance, a different rear bumper, a new set of wheels and an extended wheelbase too, which will stand at 3 inches longer compared to its predecessor.
“At the 2015 New York International Auto Show, Infiniti will unveil the 2016 QX50. As one of the first personal crossovers –– now one of the fastest growing segments –– the updated QX50 has a wheelbase increase of more than three inches, creating additional rear legroom and interior volume”, said the carmaker in its official press release.
Infiniti didn’t release any details on the interior design of the updated QX50 or what we will be finding under its hood so chances are the crossover will be getting the same cabin and the same engine lineup. The 2016 Infiniti QX50 will be offered for sale this fall. More details on it are limited for the moment and will be announced at the New York automotive event.
