Jaguar has officially announced the pricing list for the new XF generation in the United Kingdom.
After making its public debut at the 2015 New York Auto Show, following its online unveil just a few days ago, the new generation of the Jaguar XF is now available for order on its local market, United Kingdom. The model in question is aiming towards the BMW 5-Series, the Mercedes-Benz E-Class, the Audi A6 or the Cadillac CTS, amongst others, and it is available for order from 32,300 GBP. For the money you will get the most economical model in the range, which is powered by a 2.0 liter Ingenium diesel unit, in the Prestige spec, producing 161 HP and 380 Nm of torque, connected to the 6-speed manual transmission. This is burning 71.7 mpg and it is emitting 104 g/km of CO2.
If the 8-speed automatic transmission is what you are looking for, than get ready to pay another 1,750 GBP. This will be adding 5 g/km of CO2. The more powerful diesel unit, with 178 HP, is 500 GBP more than the lower powered version and for the 3.0 liter six-cylinder diesel, producing 295 HP, you will have to pay 49,950 GBP. The 3.0 liter V6 petrol supercharged unit, which has been borrowed from its smaller brother, the XE, and also from the F-Type sports car, is pushing the price to 49,950 GBP, but it is lowering the 0 to 62 mph sprint to around 5 seconds. Some of the features found on the new XF generation include the autonomous safety systems, laser head-up display, 12.3-inch TFT instrument display, the 10.2-inch touch screen infotainment system, 17-speaker sound system, InControl Touch pro and more.
