The first images with the 2016 Kia Optima GT have recently hit the web as the model in question is expected to debut at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show, this September.
Kia’s newest creation is called the Optima GT and this will be officially presented to the public during the major German automotive event, this fall, but before this will happen, the vehicle has ended up in our news recently, with the help of a couple of images, which are showing us how this will look like. The model, which is believed to be in its Euro-spec, seems to have an identical rear end as the one of the 2016 Kia Optima in the US-spec, shown at the 2015 New York Auto Show, earlier this year, except for the GT badge.
The new Kia Optima GT will be the range-topping version and rumor has it that this will be offered, exclusively, with a 2.0 liter four-cylinder turbocharged gasoline burner. This will be able to send a total of 247 HP (184 kW) and 352 Nm (184 lb-ft) of torque, to the wheels. However, with Europeans being fans of diesel engines, you might also expect the 1.7 liter and the 2.0 liter units. The new Euro-spec Kia Optima should be offered for sale by the end of this year, or even sometimes in 2016. Additional details on it are limited at this point and will be announced during the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show, this September.
