Kia has decided to updated the Sorento for the 2016 model year and the vehicle will be officially presented to the public in a couple of weeks, during the 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show.
The 2016 Kia Sorento has been recently updated and the company has released the first image with it, ahead of its public debut which will take place during the 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show. The model in question is coming with some different side mirrors, with the Ice Cube fog lights similar to the ones seen in the Optima and in the Cee’d GT, orange turn signals and several other tweaks, including the new set of chrome wheels.
Kia will be selling the 2016 model year Sorento in the L, the LX, the EX, the SX and the SXL trim levels and, depending on the selected version, you will have up to three seating rows. We are not sure what engine this will be using but in its European version, the 5- and the 7-seat variants can be ordered with a 2.4 liter four-cylinder gasoline burner, with 188 HP and 241 Nm of torque and this is rumored to be offered in the U.S. too. More details on the model will be announced on the 18th of November, in L.A.
