Lotus is planning to introduce an updated version of the Evora at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, in March.
An updated version of the Lotus Evora is expected to be officially presented to the public during the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, in a premiere. The announcement hasn’t been made official just yet, but according to a recent report, the model in question will be introduced during the Swiss automotive event, next year, in March. The sports car will get a revised styling on the exterior and in the cabin too and it will also weigh less than the outgoing model.
As you probably already know by now, the Lotus Evora has been in production since 2009 and it is currently being assembled in Hethel, Norfolk, England. The model is offered as a 2- or 2+2 passenger coupe, with a transverse mid-engine and rear-wheel drive layout. Power is being provided by a 3.5 liter Toyota V6 engine with 276 HP (206 kW) or by a 3.5 liter Toyota V6 supercharged with 345 HP (257 kW). Power is being sent to the wheels through a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission, depending on the version selected.
