The aftermarket specialists from BBR have created a new tuning program which is aimed towards the 2016 Mazda MX-5.
If you are looking towards the 2016 Mazda MX-5 and you feel like the model is not suitable for you, then you will be glad to find out that there is now a new tuning package available for it, which has been signed by the aftermarket specialists from BBR. According to the tuning company, the model in question has received some interesting items which will help it differentiate more compared to the regular version.
“Our objective with the all-new MX-5 is to achieve the same 200 bhp output that we can easily enjoy with simple bolt-on components on the current 2.0-litre NC model, before building on further power upgrades using forced induction”, said Neil Mckay, from BBR, in the official press release.
The 2016 Mazda MX-5 upgrade by BBR is focused on the 2.0 liter SkyActiv engine, which should produce 200 HP (149 kW). This is just a simple start because later on the company will be introducing even more powerful versions of it. Besides the power upgrade, BBR has also worked on a new styling package, which should put some space between the updated variant and the standard ones. Unfortunately, no more details on the topic have been announced so we don’t even know the cost of the upgrades at this time, but hopefully these will be detailed in the near future. Meanwhile, you can check it out in the only image released so far.
