New renderings with the 2016 Mazda2 MPS have hit the web and they are providing us with a first look into how the new model may turn out to be.
The development of a B-segment hot hatch by Mazda, based on the Mazda2, is no longer a surprise as the model in question has been rumored several times over the past few months but the company’s enthusiasts still have a long wait ahead as the vehicle is believed to be introduced sometimes next year. The images posted below are renderings which have been signed by X-Tomi and they are showing a light aggressive makeover over the model in question.
The 2016 Mazda2 MPS will be coming with an aggressive body kit, once it will be ready for its future customers, along with upgraded suspension system, better brakes and some tweaks made to the cabin. We are not sure at the moment what engine this will be using but it will have to be pretty serious considering the fact that the vehicle has some tough competition to beat such as the Renault Clio RS, the Ford Fiesta ST or the Opel Corsa OPC. More details on the new Mazda2 MPS are limited for the moment and will be announced close to its debut.
