The facelifted version of the Mercedes-Benz A-Class has received a massive photo gallery ahead of its public debut scheduled for the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show.
The 2016 Mercedes-Benz A-Class has been officially unveiled a few months back and it is now placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the help of some new images released. The model in question is getting new front and rear bumpers, modified graphics for the lighting clusters, optional LED headlights which are standard on the range-topping A45 AMG, a diamond front grille and several other tweaks.
Inside it we can find a revised instrument cluster, along with the optional free standing 8-inch display. Fresh materials have been added as well and there is also a modified infotainment system which is now compatible with the Android Auto and the Apple CarPlay. Thanks to these modifications, the compact premium hatchback is now looking more refined and closer in design with its four-door coupe brother, the CLA.
Speaking of the engine lineup you have to know that the A160 entry-level is bringing a 1.6 liter engine under its hood, with 102 HP (75 kW) and 180 Nm (133 lb-ft) of torque. There is also an A180d BlueEFFICIENCY Edition, the most frugal model, which is carrying the 1.5 liter dCi diesel engine, with 110 HP (80 kW) and 260 Nm (192 lb-ft) of torque. This is bringing 3.5L / 100km of fuel and it is emitting 89 g/km of CO2. The A220d has a 2.1l unit with 177 HP (130 kW) and the A250 Sport and A250 Sport 4MATIC are sharing the 218 HP (160 kW) engine.
