The facelifted version of the Mercedes-Benz B-Class has been officially unveiled as the model in question is getting ready to hit the market.
Mercedes-Benz has introduced a facelifted version of the G-Class. The G350d and the G500 models are not coming with new front and rear bumpers, with AMG flared wheel arches in the same color as the vehicle and the G350d is also coming with the standard 18-inch light alloy wheels with a 5-spoke design. The same vehicle is benefiting from a power hike which is allowing the unit to reach from 211 HP (155 kW) to 245 HP (180 kW) and the torque from 540 Nm (399 lb-ft) to 600 Nm (443 lb-ft). From 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph), this needs 8.9 seconds.
The G500 has received a new 4.0 liter biturbo V8 engine under its hood, which is the same one from the G500 4×4 Concept. The unit is capable of producing a total output of 422 HP (310 kW) and 610 Nm (450 lb-ft) of torque, available between 2,250 rpm and 4,750 rpm. From 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph), the vehicle needs 5.9 seconds. The AMG models are also coming with a power boost and the G63 AMG now has an extra 27 HP, to a total of 571 HP (420 kW) and 760 Nm (561 lb-ft) of torque, while the G65 AMG is getting 630 HP (463 kW) from the previous 612 HP (450 kW), with a peak torque of 1,000 Nm (738 lb-ft). The AMG EDITION 463 special model has been also introduced as this is getting some exterior and interior tweaks. No pricing details have been announced at this time.
