MINI has released the first official images with the new generation of the Clubman, detailing it for the first time ever.
Following the spy shots of the 2016 MINI Clubman, which have ended up all over the place over these past few month, the BMW owned marque is now ready to officially pull the wraps off the body of the model in question, but until that will happen, in just a few hours, the vehicle is being highlighted with its first official images.
The 2016 MINI Clubman is expected to become the largest ever model produced by the British brand and it is now coming with four side doors and two rear barn doors, bringing their number to no less than six. There is no surprise in terms of design considering the fact that the carmaker has already unveiled a near-production concept car last year and this model is looking basically identical. The vehicle stands at a similar size compared to the concept so chances are it will be 4,223 mm long, 1,844 mm wide and 1,450 mm tall. When compared to its predecessor, this is 260 mm longer, 161 mm wider and 24 mm taller. Expect a similar engine lineup to the rest of the MINI lineup along with the 192 HP (141 kW) and 300 Nm of torque 2.0l turbo. Additional details on the new generation of the MINI Clubman are limited at this time and will be announced in just a few hours.
