Mitsubishi has officially introduced the 2016 Outlander PHEV which will be offered for sale over the next few weeks.
Following the debut of the 2016 Mitsubishi Outlander, the car manufacturer has decided to also pull the wraps off the Outlander PHEV facelift, which is coming with a similar design of the one found on the regular midsize crossover. The vehicle can be easily distinguished thanks to its bumper extensions, to the new two-tone 18-inch machined and gloss black wheels and to the two new paint finishes, the Ruby Black Pearl and the Quartz Brown Metallic.
The cabin of the 2016 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV has received some tweaks too and these include the new four-spoke steering wheels, the redesigned seats, the standard power adjustable driver’s seat, the heated steering wheel, the large console and changes stop here. The facelifted version of the “green” Mitsubishi Outlander has also received other improvements too and these are the steering, the handling and the ride, which have been optimized, along with the hybrid setup and the throttle response. The carmaker has also added the new safety kit like the Multi-around View Monitor and the Unintentional Move Off Control. The vehicle will be offered for sale on the 9th of July, on its local market, Japan, and by the end of the year it is expected to arrive in other countries too. No pricing details are being known at this time.
