2016 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV is ready for the IAA image

The 2016 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV has been officially unveiled over the web as the model will be making its public debut at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show.

Mitsubishi is getting ready for the 2015th edition of the Frankfurt Motor Show, which will be officially opening its gates in two weeks. One of the models which will be presented at the German automotive event will be the 2016 Outlander PHEV, which has been recently shown, over the web at this point. The vehicle is carrying over the same styling tweaks but the company has applied the Dynamic Shield front fascia, also offering a choice of two fresh paints named the Quartz Brown Metallic and the Ruby Black Pearl.

The vehicle has been named the “world’s first plug-in hybrid 4WD SUV” and it is getting 18-inch two-tone machined alloy wheels, new LED DRLs, LED taillights, bumper extensions and so on. The cabin of the model has received more sound-deadening material and additional anti-vibration material. The 2016 Outlander PHEV is bringing numerous revisions to the suspension system, along with dynamic dampers, upgrades in handling and so on. Unfortunately Mitsubishi is currently keeping additional details on the 2016 Outlander PHEV a secret at this point but more will be revealed at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show. Besides this model, the carmaker will also bring the i-MiEV, the Outlander, the L200 Double Cab, the Space Star, Pajero, Lancer Sportback and ASX.
