Nissan and Infiniti have officially pulled the wraps of the 2016 Fuga which is aimed towards its local car market, Japan.
Nissan’s newest creation is called the 2016 Fuga and this is an updated version of the model which has received features such as the LED headlights which are flanking the revised front grille, the LED daytime running lights, the integrated turn signals into the new side mirrors, the LED taillights, the different front bumper and the 18-inch alloy wheels which should be enough to put some distance between it and the already available versions. Changes made to the cabin are limited and they include the improved rear seat, the additional sound deadening material and the revised glove box.
“In this big minor change, as well as renew the exterior, for example, to achieve the world’s highest level of safety performance, also to strengthen equipped surface, it has evolved into a dynamic model in the most luxury in history. As a premium sedan, design appeal to customers of sensibility, advanced technology, with a performance, has been well received and was released earlier conjunction with the “Skyline”, it will be a new benchmark for luxury cars”, says the carmaker in its official press release.
The 2016 Nissan Fuga is being offered with a choice of three engines. The first one is a 2.5 liter V6 with 225 HP (165 kW) and 258 Nm (190 lb-ft) of torque, being followed by the 3.7 liter V6, rated at 333 HP (245 kW) and 363 Nm (267 lb-ft) of torque. The hybridized 3.5 liter V6, with its 364 HP (268 kW) is closing the range. Prices for the Fuga currently on sale in Japan start at 4,104,000 YEN.
