The first official images with the 2016 Nissan Maxima have been recently released ahead of the model’s debut which will take place in a couple of months, during the 2015 New York Auto Show.
The 2016 Nissan Maxima is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the help of its first official images, which have been recently released after the model in question has been partially revealed during the Super Bowl ad. The upcoming vehicle has been already previewed a year ago, during the 2014 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit with the Sport Sedan Concept, and it is adopting features such as the V-Motion front fascia, the floating roof design, the chrome grille or LED headlights.
When compared to the one-off vehicle unveiled a year ago, the new Maxima seems to be toned down. Nissan has also fitted the 2016 Maxima with the updated infotainment system in the cabin, with the metallic trim, the leather seats, the sport steering wheel and several other tweaks. Under the hood, the 3.5 liter V6 engine was resting, capable of producing a total of 300 HP (223 kW), on the concept car, but if the same unit should be used on the final production version of the car, than this should be developing approximately 260 HP (194 kW). The 2016 Nissan Maxima should be making its public debut at the 2015 New York Auto Show, on the 1st of April. More details on it are limited at this time.
